|Heat/AC controls-Chevy chassis||Bob||1-13-03|
I have an '86 Coachman Class A with an '85 Chevy P30 chassis. The cable linkage that operates the engine heater/AC controls came loose at the dashboard connection. In attempting to repair it, I took it loose and,in the process, lost track of the little vacuum tubes placements on the back. The tubes connect to the back of the dashboard panel to operate buttons that determine selections like Defroster, Heat, A/C, Max A/C, etc. The tubes are different colors, but there isn't any color code match up that I can find. The Chevy dealer wasn't any help. How can I find out what the right match up is supposed to be and where can I order the cable connector for the cable itself, which is the source of the problem in the first place?

I'm looking for a heat/air control made by Coleman for an RV unit
Part # 7330D335 or 73303351. It is a six wire unit.

The control on your motorhome is the same off a Dodge truck. What you need to do is find the manufacturers ID tag and contact them. If you can find it, and can't contact them, let me know who the manufacturer is and I may have the hose schematic.

First thing you need to do is find the the Main Vacuum hose coming from the engine. I think you will be able to figure it out from there by trial and Error. Cable Connector? the little spring steel piece that holds the cable in place? and holds it from moving, when you slide the Temp. Comtrol.=== There's always the good Ole wrecking yard. They used that same thing on just about everything, ie, cars, pick-up truck etc.

I found your posting when I was looking for the same information. I think there are red, white, blue, and black hoses. Can you tell me in what order they attach to the control. If so, just tell me in what order they go, starting from the either the driver side or passenger side.
