Spark plug question CDW332 12-21-02
I need the spark plug gap for my 1978 GMC 454
Re: Spark plug question Gary 12-29-02
If it has H.E.I ignition, should be 45, no H.E.I. should be 35. Use AC Spark Plugs too, GM's seem to run their best with them. I used the same plugs that are being used in the late models of today, "Rapid Fire" up to 8 MPG. from Carson City, NV. to Miami Fla. this summer. Also with a 195 degree thermostat and 90 LBS. of tire presure in 8R19.5 tires, rated for 110 Lbs. put the rims are only rated to 95 Lbs.
