2001 Safari Cheetah 3796-Problem with getting front slide and the RVA leveling jacks to operate Bill Bircher 6-16-17
I am having a problem with the leveling jacks and the front slide to operate. I have all batteries charged and have tried to operate slide with ignition in accessory and on position with no luck. I have also tried it with the engine running with the transmission in "N" with the parking brake on and the slide still won't operate. I have not owned it very long, 6 months. I have reset the circuit breakers and checked the fuses in the back bedroom. Could there be an in-line fuse somewhere?

I have the RVA leveling jacks and they have been working great until recently. They are currently in the retracted position and I have checked the fluid and is okay. I can turn on the unit and get the master light to show green and when i press the retract all the yellow light flashes. Problem is they will not go down. I have tried with the accessory position and the on position of the ignition switch with nothing working. Interesting thing is that when I start up the engine and depress any of the jack down switches, the engine dies. It acts like the jack is causing a load on the engine.... Any suggestions on either problem is appreciated. Bill
