Check your Relay by switching them to one to another that reads same code. If that does not read well..Electric Pump.

Do you know the part number of the blower motor
Re: Duo Therm Model 65941-002 Joe 12-15-02
The first thing to check is the "sail" switch. The circut board must get a signal from the "sail" switch that there is air passing through the heat chamber before it will turn on the gas. Also there is a high limit switch that will sometimes stick or not make contact and causes a condition like the heat chamber is at maximum heat so it will not turn on the gas. More than likely the ignition board has failed, as anybody that works on RV's will tell you that this is a common problem. When the thermostat contacts close, power is sent through the thermostat to the fan relay. Then as the "Sail" switch sends it's signal to the circut board, power from the thermostat also opens the gas solenoid. When components get a little old, the demand for power is increased and the ignition board is the first to go. Usually replacing the ignition board will solve the problem.

I am attempting to add an optional heat strip to this system and seem to have two problems. First, the thermostat that I have installed does not have a dip switch for the heat strip. It has a place for one, but no strip (it does have a furnace switch that is not used). Second, the control board does not have a plug for this Optional heat kit. My questions: Can I replace the control board and thermostat and make it work?

Thanks, Dave

I have an old Duotherm heater. The limit swithc won't kick on the blower. So the thing warms until the high limit kills it. Is there anyway to rebuild/repair it? Blower does work if you short across the switch.

I have a duo-therm mod. 65941-002 in my single wide mobile home. the heater was working great until just the other day. the thermostat will kick the blower on, but the heater wont ignite. it doesnt even "click".

my guess would be the igniter is bad. any input?

Re: Duo Therm Model 65925-050 Mike 10-4-10
Furnace in the Motor Home runs properly for a time and then the fan will stay on, as it is calling for heat, but the burner won't come on. Have to shut it off and then a few minutes later, turn it on and it will work. Is this the limit switch acting up?
Re: Duo Therm Model 65941-002 Rich Toyser 12-4-09
Duo-Therm parts? I have read several posts and looked at the unit quite a few times. I need to figure out which part is bad. The blower motor will start from the thermostat. The 3 try spark happens intermittently. I have cleaned the entire unit. Checked all the connections. I have looked for a owners manual but I can not find one for this exact model. I have a 65941-002. I did find a owners manual for the 65900 series. In the manual I can see references to 65917-65920 and 65925-65930 and 65935-35940 but nothing that mentions the 65941-002. Maybe I am just being too critical on Duo-Therm. How do I test the or bypass the sail switch to determine if the Ignitor Board is bad or the sail switch is bad?

Re: Duo Therm Model 57915.622 John Serrato 7-25-09
Currently when I switch from the front A/C to the back A/C and back again, I have to depress the the two (2) top buttons on my current thermostat to complete the action. I understand there is a new thermostat for this model which allows the A/C's to be controlled independently. If so, what is the part number so that I may purchase one. Thank you.

Does anyone have a schematic? I have a board problem and my low fan is stuck on (front AC). It stays on all the time.Compressor on this one cycle normally. Also and my rear air the compressor is stuck on. It stay on all the time, but my fan cycles normally.

2 crazy different problems on each AC. This is due to a generator not shut down properly or power surge.

Hi, I have a Monaco Diplomat with 2 of the Duo-Therm Mod. 630035.321. While on a trip I noticed that the front unit was not cooling and then later not heating as compared to the rear unit. Huge difference. Had the "bad" unit checked by a AC repair man (not an RV guy) and he said that it's a sealed unit and it is leaking coolant. I asked him to put a device on the tubing to add coolant to get me by until I got home. Are these units not able to be repaired if they are leaking? All other functions seem to be working fine. I certainly hate to have to buy a new one if this one can be repaired. Thanks.

Re: Duo Therm Model 57915.622 don zuba 9-6-09
Bill,
Did you ever find an answer to you generator question to run you conditioner?

I have a 3Kw generator the runs fine on start up but then shuts down my generator on the first cycle. The honda dealer says it should run it. Could there be a circuit board adjustment or even a compressor/jet adjustment?

Do

I'm having the same problem with my Duo therm heater model 66012 and was thinking it might be low voltage or just a bad gas valve, not sure though.

Re: Duo Therm Model 57915.531 Rodger 1-9-09
Dave -
Did you get the problem worked out?

I was just checking the net before
ordering the heat strip for an identical model number of AC.

Surprised to see someone with same
model number even.

I did not get the impression that anything had to be done to the thermostat. What's the real story?

Appreciate any input you my have.

Thanks,
Rodger
Re: Duo Therm Model 57915.531 Michael Barcus 3-16-15
I have a duo-therm roof unit model 57915.531. Problem I am having is you can here thermostat click in and out as you turn it but when you turn it in it will run the compressor for maybe 5 minutes and compressor will kick out. When this happens everything is still running but the compressor will be kicked out and air is not cold anymore. I can then turn the thermostat knob and will not here the clicking noise anymore. Does this sound like a bad thermostat. And how can I test the thermostat to see if it is defective? Pulled it all out very easy just wanted to make sure it was not anything more serious. Thanks

It appears that the start watt is 2800-3000 and the run watt is 1500-2000... so how big must the generator be? I am looking at a Champion 3100 watt inverter generator.

My furnace fails to light (new theromcouple, wiring is good getting gas) when I attempt to light the pilot I get some gas then it slowly goes out so will not heat the thermocouple. I wonder if the valve might be sticky. I also attempted to adjust the pilot. I also blew out all the lines. ?is a new valve available or can this one be repaired
Thanks Jerry
