My furnace will light and stay lite for about 3 to 5 seconds and go out and do the same thing until it locks out and I get the 3 flashes like it hadn't lite. I replaced the board and flame sense and the gas pressure out the valve is 11". I've jumped out the safeties to try and see if one of the 2 was bad same issue. As best i can tell the heat ex-changer is clear I used a air hose to blow through.I tried changing the ignition / sense wire with a new one. I also replaced the burner Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

With out your furnace on the bench:

The gap is too large on your flame sense, I cant remember if your furnace has a separate igniter and Flame sense probes or the Igniter probe is used for both. But either way if the gap is too large the board will not "Sense" the ionized gas in the flame and the board shuts down with this failure.

Be Very Very careful adjusting the gap, the ceramic insulator will crack or break if you look at it sideways. Bend the mount base.

Good Luck

Spec is roughly 1/8 inch. I think there is an exact spec but that's what we use.

Good luck
