Duo-therm pilot greg 11-18-02
I can't get the pilot to stay lit when I turn the control valve to the "on" position. Pilot stays lit all day in the pilot position. Does this mean the control valve is bad?
Thanks Greg

You probably have a bad thermocouple. That is the probe that the pilot flame heats up and the thermocouple tells the valve to open the main to the burner. If the thermocouple is not positioned correctly it could also not get hot enough.
