Replacement gas valve Duo-therm #65517-2 John 10-20-02
The heater will work fine at initial start-up but when the next cycle is suppose to turn on, it will not. If you tap on the gas valve it will start-up. Do you know any places that would have a replacement gas valve for this old model?? Any help would be much appreciated.

You could have dirt in the main orfice. When it is first started, the dirt just lays there, but on re start, the dirt plugs the orfice and the furnace won't start. Try that first.
