Atwood water heater John 10-2-02
I'm in a campground in Maryland and plan on being here for at least week. Last night after my self igniting 6 gallon Atwood water heater finished heating the water, it would come back on for 30 seconds and shut off for 5 minutes or so and come back on again. This lasted all night, and this morning I turned it off. The owner of the campground tells me that it is not worth fixing because the parts are not available for these anymore. It works so well that I don't think there is much wrong with it. Any suggestions?

I need the wiring hookup for an Atwood water heater from switch to heater.

While at the campground a fellow camper heard my problem, opened the water heater compartment, turned a sensor about 1/8 of a turn and now it works just fine. So much for no parts available.
