1976 MC5-B Head Lights Schematics Leo 9-22-02
Need help !! bought this nice 76 MC5-B for convertion, problem last week while trying to connect a 12v stereo, I blew something since I did not have anymore low beams on my coach but had high beams. The coach as been fitted with a 102 front therefore the headlights were converted to 12v from the original 24. I checked all the fuses and everything seems to be ok right up to the relay where it converts to 12v and then no power to the relay unless the dimmer switch is on high beams. Trying to connect the stereo, I connected it to the only available 12v feed I could find which was the head light relay. Last week I brought my coach to a truck and coach shop to see if they could find the problem but to no avail. The bill was $271.54. The mechanic played around the fuse panel and did something to the lights since he blew all the seal beams on the bus (24v)and changed a relay. They charged me for the new lights and relay but still no lights. After an argument with the idiots I left. Can someone help me understand what happened here or direct me to the problem...Thank You

Go back to the dimmer switch and check power on low and high beam....That is the place to start.
