|King of the road 5th wheel. F36max serial # 5669||Julie||11-10-16|
|Hi, I just got this old 5th wheel as a project and it's turning out to be a nightmare... jk. |
So I need a slide out motor, and no one seems to know which one it needs. Because it's gone. And I've been told there is no way to track it by yr make and model. I should say, make and model, because I'm not sure of the yr. Yep no title, vin been ground off and no paperwork.

|Yikes! Sounds like you must have gotten a good deal (hopefully free) on this one.|
As a rule-of-thumb, just because you don't have the make or model for the motor, there can't be that many out there to choose from. You know your specs for space and load, right (e.g. search for manual or look at similar loads on other 5th wheels)? If you're going to undertake the project, then I'm guessing you have the know-how or not afraid to get it. It's not rocket science, and you know you need a motor that has the torque to deliver, so start there in your search, size & power.
With some ingenuity, research, and some RV bone yards, you should be able to make it happen!
Probably the worst advice ever... or very good advice. You decide.
