|New RM2354 no lights on panel, no cooling||Hilary||8-30-16|
|I have a new (1 month old) 2354 in a 1979 Trillium trailer. I worked well on AC for the first week we had it out, but stopped functioning when I took it off AC to drive home. Fuses are all good, 12V battery has a good charge.|
Even when plugged into shore power at home, there are no lights on the control panel, and the unit appears dead.
What additional troubleshooting steps can I take before returning to the dealer who installed it?

|I should have clarified - this is a Dometic RM2354 fridge|

|My manual shows the RM2354 as a three way electronic ignition fridge.|
If the lights on the control board are off there is no 12 volt power.
No 12 volt means no operation, it controls everything.
There may be a thermo switch mounted on the chimney on the right side of the rear of the fridge. It has a tiny button in the center, try pushing it, if it clicks it was tripped. Sometimes a bump or jar will trip this.
Check for power at the teminal block and prove out your ground, very common problem.
Take the cover off the control board and check the 12 volt fuse inside.
