|First specification: At 90 degrees outside temp turn the fridge on, in 12 hours the fridge is supposed to cool the fins to 25 degrees F. As most people don't have a laser thermometer: That translates too 1 quart of room temp water is 45 F after 8 -12 hours and freeze 1 quart of water in the freezer. Not near as good as your home fridge ever.|
If your fridge wont make the specified performance it may have a blockage in the cooling unit or a loose or warped door gasket.
A blocked cooling unit may be temporarily repaired but will continue to act up forever and the repair only works on 30% of fridges. The mickey moose temporary repair procedure that probably wont work is: Remove the fridge from the cabinetry, turn it upside down, WITH A RUBBER HAMMER GENTLY "RING" the coils. Be aware! the coils are full of poisonous gas that cold kill you in an enclosed space. So the goal is to make them shake a blockage loose but no dents or breaks.
