Magnetec 6345 Convertor Doug Young 1-19-16
Looking at wire diagrams and can't make sense of them. I need to disconnect Battery Charge wires from the 6345 unit. Where exactly are the wires? It isn't charging and drains the reserve battery in my motorhome. I feel that this is the fix to the problem. Even with a 1.5 amp top charger, battery still drains. Please EMAIL me with any help. Thank You!

Early ones have a seperate charge board inside the box. Thats what you are looking to disconect. But I don't think thats your issue.

I would bet you have a bad change over relay tha does not disconect the transformer from the 12 volt system when the shore power is disconected.

Remember it is supplied to 120 volt house power and 12 volt battery, so caution and safety are important.

I've seen a couple good pictures of this on the net. Try the pdf manual on

Good Luck

Thank You Bubba!!
I have four relays under the hood of my Ford chassis on this Coachmen. My control panel lights will show one light for the battery and when I turn the key on ----but not to start---- a relay solanoid clicks and the panel will go up to two or three lights. I'm working on replacing the bad one. Thanks for your help!!
