|My fridge is working great on AC and gas but on 12 volts in does nothing. Any ideas on what I might be needing to do differently.|

|The smart ass answer is give up on the 12 volt side. We really do recomend that you not use the 12 volt due to the lower performance, stress it puts on your charging system and the 12 volt battery will only last two to four hours under this load|
You haven't said what kind of RV this is but it common for the tow vehicle to not be able to provide enough 12 volt to power the Fridge.
Anyway if you have a real 12 volts or more to the power terminals in the back of the fridge, This must be measured while the fridge is working on 12 volt ! then you need to look at if the element is beeing fed 12 volt and if it is getting hot.
Guessing your fridge works fine on 12 volt, just not for long.
