Re: Replacing the water tank for my 1964 Terry travel trailer by BUBBA THE BUS TECH
Post New Message I owned one of these 20 years ago. Was completly unsafe then, age of the pressure vessil (water tank)

Go to your local RV shop and buy a plastic fresh water tank, Take the mounting area measurments with you. The tank will take a few days to arrive from the supplier. allow enough room at one end to mount the pump and plumbing.

You also need: Fresh water fill and hose for same, City water conection, Water Pump. Then head to your local hardware store. You need to adapt 1/2 Pex plumbing to where the tank used to be. You need a PEX "T", 2 Pex to Braided hose adaptos to hook to the pump. Some 1/2 inch pipe plugs and a few Mis fittings in 1/2 Pex. Also a couple straps to tie it down.

Ask them to draw a diagram of how all this hooks up. Its really simple. Use the wiring for the on board compressor for the pump.

Good Luck
