Re: Building a Coach by Joe
Post New Message Like RV said, why build when you could buy for probably half the price of the cost to build. I have a friend that built a class "B" motorhome. He has a repair shop and thought it to be a good idea. When he was done it cost over $50,000 in the van and the parts plus it took over 6 months to build with one person full time and plenty of helper hours. That didn't include all his planning time and phone calls to order this and that. Or all the parts runs to the local hardware store. When he was done he claimed it cost over $100,000 and he wasn't really that happy with it. That was about 5 years ago, and you can buy the best there is now for in the 60'S. Good luck.
