Re: Power steering booster by BUBBA THE BUS TECH
Post New Message Hard steering, Check in following order:

Belts: Loose, Slipping. If the belts are slipping the pully will be noticably hot after a couple minitues turning steering and making it work.

Is the pump noisy? Oil level low? Normally if the pump goes bad it also gets noisy.

Steering box bad, this is tough as the box will usually start leaking when it goes bad. But not allways. It takes special tools to test and Diaganose this.

Brake system Hydro Boost system bad. These are very rearely anything to do with hard steering. The brakes can be notchy and have high effort levels, but the steering operates normally.
