Norcold model 982 refrigerator Sharon Gregory 5-24-14
Our 982 series refrigerator worked when we last used last fall. Now when we reconnect batteries and plug in the 5th wheel and turn on the refrigerator we get an A7 error code. Any suggestions on what to do. Thanks

Hi Sharon, A7 code is DC Input Voltage Low. 10.5 volts DC is minimum allowable 15.4 max. You have to have this to power the controls to operate on LP or 120VAC electric. If your converter is bad it won't supply 12VDC but if you're battery is charged up it should supply the 12V. There's a 3 amp fuse on the fridge circuit board for 12VDC and a 5 amp for 120VAC, bad connection somewhere? Just some ideas as it's hard to tell from here. Good luck
