|IN a 1990s or older trailer this is supposed to happen automatically and failure to do so is an indication there is a failed relay inm the power centre|
In a more current trailer it means the battery is disconected from the unit.
Follow the positive cable from the battery. It will end in an area where there are fuses or 12 volt breakers mounted. These will need to be checked.
Also, dirty battery cables, corroded battery cable to frame ground and other wiring issues may be the cause.
