Copper pipe to water heater JD 4-16-14
Copper pipe connected to my water heater split from freezing. Trying to locate a plumbing floorplan or schematic on how I can replace it. Can any one help with this.

Hi JD, I take it this is in an RV...? It's probably copper tubing rather than pipe...? If tubing you can buy adapters to go from copper to PEX (plastic) tubing. It may have flared brass fittings for the copper, make sure you use flared to pex fittings. If it is copper pipe there are sweat fittings and Sharkbite brand (and others) fittings to make the transition. This may be a task for a plumber or RV tech. If you are set on doing it yourself, remove what you have, take it to a plumbing, Lowes/HD, RV store and see if someone can help you make the transition as easy as possible. An RV store with a shop maybe the best bet as they deal with this stuff, and are more apt to have the "weird" parts that are sometimes needed to do this. Good luck
