We could get repair pieces up till 5 years ago. Not now though.
The converter is a metal box where the 12 volt battery wires, 12 volt out wires to the rv and the 120 volt power all meet.
Inside there is a relay controled by pluging into 120 volt power. Often this sticks or gets dirty and a little work with 2000 grit sand paper the a paper dollar bill can fix them.
If that wont work you will have to retrofit to a modern system or use a plug in auto battery charger.
