Suburban Furnace will not restart after dialing down John 2-15-13
Furnace Suburban model#sf25
Coleman a/c roof top model#833308564
thermostat- Coleman Mach 12v 6-wire Heat/cool 7330g3351.

Trouble:
Low fan does not work on thermostat set to cool and low, or fan and low. In either fan position on the thermostat; auto or on. Also, Furnace works no problem on any heat setting until it is dialed down. The furnace will not run again until the thermostat is placed into the off position, wait about 30 seconds as all of the relays recycle, then turn it on again and works at selected heat. As soon as you move the temp select, apparently it stops operation. Thermostat?

Two things to check/change before t-stat.

1st the thermostat probably has functions thatr the AC and Furnace do not suport. Specifically low fan.

The symptoms you describe are comon for a furnace that is "Limiting". This means the flame is actually being shut down by the over heat safety switch.

Do you have ANY duct outlets restricted or blocked. Do not do this as it will cause your problem.

If not change the Limit Switch they relitively inexpensive, and any RV parts store will have one or can get one quickly.

Then from there it could be a t-stat or furnace control board.
