Dometic RN2351 Shari 9-6-12
I have a Dometic RN2351 fridge that won't stay lit and running. We have it in our cabin and hooked to a battery to start the fridge. However when the battery dies the fridge stops running. I was told when I pruchased that the battery was just to start the fridge and not run it. Any help with getting it to run? Thansk

Hi Shari, A continuous 12 volt DC supply (min 9.6 VDC) must be available for the electronic control to function. If you are hooked up to 110V AC the converter will run the 12 VDC electronics, if not it's all on the battery. If you are using a good deep cycle Marine/RV battery it should run the fridge electronics for quite awhile. Good luck
