Duo-Therm 5-button Comfort Center W. Sherman 10-24-09
I have a situation where my main furnace does not show up as an available mode for the zone 1 of the Comfort Center. Zone 2 does display and operate the aux. furnace. I believe this option was lost when they worked on the front heat-pump. Have tried the rest for the thermostat and still the mode does not show up for zone 1. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Two possibilities
First reset the circuit logic by holding in the top and bottom buttons while you turn on the ON_OFF switch.
FF will appear then release the buttons.
If that does not fix it, you have lost 12 volt power to the furnace. Find the furnace fuse and test it. The furnace must deliver 12V to either one of the 2 blue wires at the control board.

I have an Atwood 8500-IV series furnace with a Duo Therm comfort control thermostat. I have reset the thermostat and replaced the 2 amp fuse and still the Duo Therm does not detect my furnace. All that will run on the heat setting is the heat strip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
