Dometic Duo Therm Furnace Dianna Libby 10-19-09
Our furnace fan comes on but the ignitor never lights after it runs for about 30 seconds then it cycles itself back on. We just replaced the thermostat thinking that was the problem but are having the same issue.

Have you checked the LP lines going to the heater unit to make sure you have gas flow? or if it has been sitting a while you will need to clean out the flue and maybe do an adjustment...if all that seems good take the cover off the thermostat and if there is a plastic cover over the contact points remove that and hold the contacts together and see if you can get it to ignite that way

Our furnace comes on but only puts out cool air. After a few minutes it shuts off and will not come on again unless we go through the starting procedure. Does the furnace run on propane or can it run on electricity?
We have only used our furnace one or two times since we have owned our RV and don't recall if it has to have propane. We are out of propane now and only use elec. for cooking and hot water. Thanks for your reply.
