'90 Bronco II 2.9 v6 Byron 10-8-09
Have a 1990 Bronco II with a 2.9 v6 & automatic. It idles fine, but when I try to accelerate it spotters and boggs down like I'm spraying carb cleaner down the intake. Won't get above 3000 RPM. Have changed cap & rotor, plugs & wires, MAP, O2 and fuel regulator. Any ideas what could be the cause?

Wild guess: Plugged exhaust. Good Luck

The cat looked good on the state inspection. I also changed the fuel filter. It has an MSD ignition system. I put a timing light on it & it looks a little erratic. The old fuel pressure reg was leaking fuel into the intake through the vac line. With the new fuel reg installed I don't see a difference when I disconnect the vac line.
