Dash air pat 9-23-09
1998 Bounder there is no power going to the air conditioner clutch, when the air is turned on. Does anyone know where the fuse or relay may be located for this. There is not a fuse marked air in either fuse block.
Re: dash air BUBBA THE BUS TECH 9-23-09
Most AC systems that are not controlled directly by a computer are run from the heater fuse to the dash controller then to a pressure switch that turns off the clutch when the pressure in the system gets to low and finally over to the clutch. So the easy place to test is at the pressure switch normally mounted on the line between the dash and the AC compressor. If there is power to this point and the compressor won't run you have a bad switch or the the Refrigerant is low. If there is no power a bad dash module or other wiring/control misshap. Good Luck
