Dometic RM2310 2 way Trish 9-14-09
Lp-gas does not cool fridge (50) when outside temp. @ 80. Freezer remains frozen. Troubleshooting guide suggests removing burner jet and soaking in wood alcohol. However there are no instructions on how to remove the burner assembly. A drawing would be helpful. Also, I have been unable to remove shelves for cleaning because I can't release the shelf locks. Used 1994 Roadtrek. Any suggestions?

Hi Trish, This is right from the manual:

The Burner and the Burner Jet
The color of the flame should be clear blue over the slots of the burner.
Once or twice a year depending on use, it is necessary to clean and adjust the burner assembly. Proceed as
follows:
1 Loosen screw and remove cover plate for burner housing.
2 Disconnect lighter cable from the electrode.
3 Loosen burner fixing screw and withdraw burner.
4 Clean burner tube with a brush. Blow with compressed air.
5 Unscrew jet and clean with alcohol. Blow with compressed air. Never use a needle or similar instrument to clean jet.
6 Reassemble.
7 Be careful that the end of the burner fits into the slot on the bracket.
The slots of the burner must be centrally located under
the boiler tube.
If it doesn't cool on electric either you may be looking at a bad cooling unit.
As for the shelf locks, if they're square and sit in a recess in the side, pry the center out, then slide out the shelf. Good luck
