Auto park stays engaged when in reverse Thomas Cooper 8-12-09
After running my motorhome for awhile when I go into reverse the autopark stays on and I can not backup. Does anyone know what causes this or what I can do to fix this problem. I have a 1996 Dolphin Motorhome with the P-30 Chassis. My phone # 210-262-1520 if you would like to call instead of emailing me. coopertj@msn.com
Thanks in advance Tom

Hello Tom;
More than likely the (cam) switch is NOT working properly.It's on the shift lever mechanism and (Very) hard to get to -or- see
it can be adjusted a very small amount which should take care of this,also,if you can get near it with a thin paint brush-it with oil.so it will move.replacing it(switch) is VERY expensive.
Heat effects this switch,mostly after driving,
