Looking for fuse box diagram for 1992 ford escort Theresa 8-11-09
I am looking for a fuse box diagram for a 1992 ford escort. Looking to replace fuse for cigarette lighter.

The oldest owner's manual available on line at https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp is 1996, so I can't offer you a link.

The best suggestion is to check the fuses one at a time with a test lamp: ground the lead to bare metal, turn the key to "Run" (one click before starting) and go down each fuse, touching both sides of the fuse. If you find a fuse where the test lamp lights on one side and doesn't light on the other, you've found a burnt fuse. The fuses have a special test access on the top just for this.

Hope that helps!
