Onan 4.0 GenSet BFA Generator Kerry 7-31-09  
I have an Onan 4.0 GenSet BFA 1R16004C RV generator that will not fire. It turns over, has compression, has new spark plugs, but the plugs do not fire.
How do I go about checking back from the plugs to see what is failing the ignition system?

Same generator, same problem. Has a very slight spark right as you let off the start button. Let me know if you figure it out and I'll do the same. troach@cass.net

I have a 4.0 Onan Genset that cranks over very slowly. I Put a new battery in and checked the cables and it still just turns over slowly. Thanks, Russ
