Duo therm comfort control center Gary Jensen 7-26-09
I have lost zone 2 on my control center - it was working off and on for the past several days, I did a reset and now zone 2 does not even appear on the screen. Does the duo therm need to be replaced or the AC control module?

Gary - The communication link (telephone line)between the two air conditioners has lost contact. Find the RJ11 connectors - ususally in the return air just behind the filter. Unplug and replug several times to wipe the contacts. If that doesnt help, replace the RJ11 connectors but be careful to maintain the same color sequence of the wires to the plug - If black is on the left on the old, black must be on the left with the new ( when holding the plugs with the same orentation). If that doesnt work, you may need to run a new wire as you may have a fault with the cable link. Try testing each color for continuity. Good luck William

Have 5 button comfort control with 2 zones, zone 2 furnace works perfect, zone 1 furnace works fine on the first cycle then will not come back on no matter how cold it gets unless you turn the thermostat up about 10 degrees or so.Once turned on again when you lower the thermostat back down to a normal setting it shuts back off like the thermostat control is wackey. What should I do?

My 4 button comfort control center doesn't work very well and I was going to change it for a 5 button and was wondering how hard it would be.
