MOR-FLO/AMERICAN RV Water Heater Rod 7-22-09
I need a UNITROL Gas Valve for this water heater. All I have for information is the manual which has a number on it of "6500097" dated 1987. It's installed in a 5th Wheel RV, 1988 RoadRanger 252 by KIT. I believe it's a 6 gallon heater.

Hi Rod, Just a suggestion... given the age of the water heater and that the company is no longer in business, (it was bought out by Suburban quite awhile back) and if you find a control, it's probably going to be $100 or so, you're proably ahead to buy a new water heater. If you replace the control and later the tank starts leaking... or whatever... you see where I'm going. A 6 gallon Suburban is pretty much a direct replacement, except you'll have to modify the LP gas line. You can find them pretty reasonable shopping around the internet. Good luck
