Motor home repair BW 7-20-09
Have a 1986 Monaco "gas pusher". It runs pretty good, but, a chevy dealership installed a new( rebuilt carb) and now it will hardly make it up a long grade. It lugs all the way down to 30mph. We took it back three times but it gets worse instead of better. Do any of you know a good independent RV mechanic in Portland, OR area. The dealerships don't know much about older coaches. Thank You, BW

Who you need is the hot rodder down the street from you that acctually knows how to tune a carborated engine. I would be a good choice other than the 700 mile drive. Don't look at RV shops. Look to hot rod and performance, and places with old mechanics that actually know how these things should work. Good Luck
