G6A8E Water Heater Rich 7-19-09  
When I turn on the water heater, it ignites for about 30 - 45 sec. then turns off. It takes a while for it to tunn on again, I get very little hot water(warm)??

Hi Rich, The sensor is also the ignitor. Make sure when the WH is lit the flame is covering the ignitor/sensor. Sorry for confusion. Good luck

Hi Rich, Could be a number of things... the board may not be seeing the flame - check that the ignitor/sensor is in the flame. Check for cleanliness of the orifice and burner tube and the connector on the board and all other connections (ground etc.) The circuit board may be tested on the same tester as a furnace board at your friendly RV shop depending on the type board.
