Gas leaking Laura Janes 7-17-09  
Everytime we fill up our 1976 Dodge Fireball past the 3/4 mark on the gauge it starts leaking gas out from under the front on the pasenger side. We have had our mechanic look at it, but he can't figure out what's wrong. Anyone else have this problem?

UH the mechanic can't find a fuel leak? Ah, A short duration fuel leak can be dificult to find, but any competent wrench will set up an agreement that will allow him to top up your fuel untill it leaks and siphon out his fuel once he knows where it leaking from. I allways sugest this and quote 1 1/2 hrs diagnostic time (and usually spend and bill less). Any way the fuel system all runs through that area and a leak could be dang near anything including a bad fuel pump, cracked/broken line/bad vent system. Good Luck

It coming from your vent line right under passenger seat you need to replace you charcoal fitler are do not top it off
