I HAVE A 2000 Bounder with a marquis 5.5 genset model and spec in the subject line.
After about five minutes of running it surges and quits and seems as though it lost fuel. Cannoy restart right away but after ten minutes will restart but does the same again.
I have changed the oil to a non foaming Pennzoil straight 30 weight so it isn't foaming oil.
How can I dtermine if the fuel supply is ok I.E. fuel pump etc.
It sure would be nice to have a parts breakdown for this unit.
Fleetwood sent me a recall to replace the fuel hose---i did that and the f/filter mine doing fine.

Component: fuel system, gasoline
ODI has received consumer complaints that allege that
the rubber gasoline fuel line that connects the onboard
generator to the main fuel tank may crack and leak
gasoline onto and beneath the vehicle. ODI is concerned
that the leaked gasoline may not be detected
and may pose a risk of a vehicle fire if ignited from exposure
to flame, sparks, hot surfaces, etc.

Safety Administration's Vehicle Safety Hotline at (888)
