1990 gmc 5.7 liter no idle w/map sensor eric 7-11-09
Out of the blue, my always reliable van hiccupped! Have foundvoltages andsignal from all related sensors to comp within spec. Will only idle with vacuum to Map sensor disconnected, even w/ new map sensor. If I disconect elect harness to Idle sensor and air sensor along with vacuum to map is somewhat drivable...but not safe. No air codes othr than a oxygen to exhaust, think that was erroneous from running w/ such disarray. 02 sensor voltages ck'd out fine...5 mv..and btwn 100 and 700 at hot when rev'd.
Any suggestions.......???

Last time this happend to me personally I had low fuel presure and got my car to the shop by unplugging the map. Had a bad hose between the pump and the fuel line. Good Luck
