Problem is possibly solved! Took the truck and trailer back to Ford yesterday and begged and pleaded for them to find and fix the problem. A service engineer / brake specialist happened to be on site. He test-drove it with the trailer hooked up and is confident that the problem is in the integrated brake controller. They are replacing it today. Keeping my fingers crossed that this fixes it. Need new tires on the trailer now - most are flat-spotted from so many lock-ups and one no longer holds air... |
