It sounds like the previous places under stood whats happening but didn't check your system correctly. The brake controller system checks continuously to see if it is hooked up to a trailer braking system. If the system does not "see" the brake magnets on the trailer you get the error. So where is the problem, Have you towed another trailer? That would narrow things downt to truck or not truck if the problem moved to another trailer. But I am betting on one of the 20 or thirty conections in you brake wiring on the trailer being bad. Good Luck |
