Thanks to all in advance!!! I'm currently looking to remove and replace the existing/original pinstriping from my 96' Four Winds Chateau, and was wondering of any insight of the best way to do this without damaging the fiberglass surface that it is affixed to??? What works best?? Heat gun, gasket scraper, chemicals?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Barry
There is a rubber wheel available that will do this like and is like an eraser on a drill. Ithas a very low chance of damaging the surface. The system works well but is slow and in my opinion expensive. The cheap way is to warm up the decal with a heat gun and peel it off with your finger nails and fingers. This works as long as they will come at all. To get the glue off I generally use WD-40 as a solvent. Some people use Acrosol or W-sol (Both Wurth products) In our shop the only allowed second choice is the rubber wheel on a drill or buffer. These are generally available from paint and industrial supply stores. Good Luck
