Keith.
Got the new ignitor and red wire today and installed them right away. The furnace is working fine. Don't know if it was the ignitor or wire. Is there a simple test, besides the substitution method, to test them?
Hi Dale, Glad you got it fixed! There is test equipment to check the microamps for the sensor. I suppose you could check for a break in the ignition wire with an ohm meter. There's probably a limit for the ohms but I don't know what it is. After I check the board, which is the easiest item to check, then I proceed from there if the board is good. Thank you for the update. Most people don't bother and makes some of us wonder why we try to, and if we did help....
