Towing problems	ted	3-30-09
Have an 05 merc. mountaineer with class C towing package -says it will pull 7K+. pulled a kiwi 23b (gvwr 4950) about 3 times with no trouble. Then 2-3 times in a row had problems with engine temp getting hot and shutting down. any suggestions?

So what changed? Poor fuel, rad blocked with fuzz, changed coolant, vacume leak, hotter day or lower baromiter reading can change this a bunch and even if only a little change. and finally did you change how you drive the unit?
