Atwood water heater elec & gas Larry 1-26-09
I have a Atwood Model #6C10A-4E 6 Gal water heater in my 2005 Southwind motorhome. It will only heat water on electric for 8 to 10 hours then gets cold. We have replaced circuit board, thermostat, heat element and relay. Same problem. This works purfect on gas???? Could someone help me with some ideas? Thank you
Re: Atwood water heater elec & gas Herb 1-26-09
Have you checked your circuit for electrical power when it goes off?
Re: Atwood water heater elec & gas Larry 1-27-09
Yes there is still power going to the element each time that we check it. Where do you think the best place to check it at at that time? By the way it will stay just warm sometimes for as long as about 6 hours after the 8 hours of hot???? More ideas PLEASE?
Thanks
