My awning on my trailer has a small two inch hole the material is vinyl can i put a patch on it as im told patches will not stick to vinyl if so what can i use to repair the hole
Can you Sew? Or your significant other? You can patch vinyl, but the patch should be stitched all around, double stitched is best (last for years).
If there the is an awning shop close to you, you can get a scrap for the job prolly in the same color, and cheap. Just make the patch at least an inch larger than the hole, hold er down with small pieces of duck tape in the corners as you stitch the sucker up. Not a problem.
Hope you can get er done alright.
Worked as a Sail maker fer three yrs as well as a couple-a yrs at awnings.
