Atwood water heater, side steps ed 11-12-08
I have a 1987 chieftain with an atwood water heater. It has been sitting for some time, and I finally got the pilot to light, but it shuts down soon after firing, any suggestions. Also how do you get the steps to come out?? Thanks for your help!!
Ed

Re: Atwood water heater, electric & gas Larry 1-26-09
I have a Atwood water heater Model 6c110A-4E in my 04 Southwind motorhome. It will not continue to work on electric more than 8 or so hours. We have replaced Circuit board, thermostate, heat element and relay. It works great on gas. Can anyone give us any ideas as what the problem can bee?

Hi Ed,
Did you ever figure out what was wrong with your water heater?
I have the same problem.
Thanks
