Post New Message My 5500 starts and dies. if I hold the start button in it will continue to run. When I let it off it sometimes dies right away and sometimes will continue to run for a short time. Where is the oil sending unit located. Where does this plug into the contral block? Can I simly un-plut it to see if that is the problem? If I hold the start button in or if it runs very long at all it shows on the genset that it is charging. Thanks, Dan.
