Hello,hope someone can help.My taillight works but doesn't brighten for the brake and doesn't blink for the turn signal.Any ideas?Could an old worn uhaul wiring harness have anything to do with it? Thanks for any input

I'd start with replacing the bulb first. Thisis pretty typical of how a bulb fails: the running light filiment still works and the brake light filiment burns out. If the bulb doesn't fix the problem, I'd start investigating the trailer harness, checking for frayed or broken wires. Hope that helps!
