Duo therm rv ac Don Cowart 7-31-08
After sitting up for periods of time, when started the A/C runs for a few moments, starts to sound like the compressor is under strain, then trips the auto reset breaker. Usually this will repete itself with increasing lengths of time between the interruptions until it works normally. However it can take several hours and hundreds of attempts. It is happening now and weems to be worse than before.

Be sure the voltage is at least 115 volts AC coming into your rig-might want to take the cover off and be sure the fan spins freely---some units have a "oil" spot on the fan motor--if it doesn't spin well.a couple drops.
I suspect the start capacitor is bad--since it wont start-but finally runs--but low voltage will act the same--.
