Starting hot water heater Kim 6-21-08
I have a 1995 Newmar American Star camper. I need to know how to start the hot water heater.

First off make sure water is in it---lift the pressure relief valve---water should come out--
On my water heater it's auto start-If you have the propane on and the CO2 monitor on too which opens the gas valve,(12 volt) you might not have this on a TT.
turn on the switch---mine has gren light---red if pilot is not lit---Keep turning it on and off till it lights---the gas line will be air bound---you should hear it click---till it lights---some water heaters have electric element--also. just be sure to turn off electric heater if NO water is in heater--or you will burn out the elemmment.
